On your Taj Mahal trip from Chennai tour board your flight for Delhi which leaves Chennai around 0630 hours for Delhi, and will reach Delhi at 0910 hrs. On arrival at New Delhi airport our representative shall assist you and transferred to air conditioned luxury car which will take you to Agra.
Distance between Delhi to Agra is 205 km and will take 3.5 Hrs. (Note: Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday). On the way have some light brunch at Indian restaurant. After refreshing yourself drive will continue to Agra en route visit Sikandra- to see the Tomb of Mughal Emperor Akbar. The Architectural of tomb shows blend of Hindu, Islamic, Jain and Buddhist, was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in around 1600.
Later continue drive to Agra on your Chennai Agra Tour. Your next destination will be Agra Fort –it was built by Akbar, The Agra fort is built across the river stretches almost 2.5 km. On this second day of Chennai Agra travel drive in early morning hours to visit Taj Mahal at time of sunrise. Taj Mahal – one of the most recognizable structures in the world and also called UNESCO world heritage site, It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his lovely wife Mumtaz. Taj Mahal is the monuments of a man’s love for a woman. The building of the tomb started in 1631 when Mumtaz Mahal died and was finished in 1653. Return to hotel for breakfast and drive back to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, you will be transferred to Delhi airport to board the scheduled flight to Chennai. Tour concludes with happy memories.
